This sweater is inspired by the “February Baby Sweater” from Elizabeth Zimmermann. The construction has been changed in order to work on such a small scale. If you want to knit a baby version, I highly recommend you pick up a copy of the book “Knitter’s Almanac” by Elizabeth Zimmermann. You will not regret it, and will soon find yourself knitting lots of baby sweaters.

Make One (m1) is best accomplished with a backwards loop cast on, you may also lift and twist the bar inbetween the stitches.
