Feeling Scrappy Socks
This knit sock pattern, graded to fit most adult sized feet, will help you practice your colorwork and use up some of those yarn scraps from your stash. The socks are worked from the toe up so you can easily make the leg any length you desire. The pattern includes a simple color chart with recommended colors, as well as grayscale charts you can color and experiment with your own color orders.
These socks have star shaped toes and shadow wrapped short row heels.
This pattern is written in needle neutral terms and can be worked on dpns or circular needles with your favorite small circumference circular knitting method.
Required Skills: basic knit and purl stitches, repetitive stitch patterns, knitting in the round, short rows, fair isle
Yarn Weight: 1 - Super Fine
Recommended Yarn: Skacel Cobasi by HiKoo (shown in Kiwi, Butter Cream, VavavaVoom Red, White, Seafoam)
Recommended Needle Size: US size 3 (3.25 mm) dpns or circular needles
Finished Measurements: Adult Size XXS (XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL)
sock foot circumference = 7 (7 1/2, 8, 8 1/2, 9 3/4, 10 1/4) inches
sock foot length = 8 1/2 (9, 9 1/2, 10, 10 1/2, 11, 11 1/2) inches
