Autumn is my favourite season of the year - everything about it, the changing colours of the trees, the crunchy leaves underfoot, cosy evenings with candles and fires lit and blankets to warm you.

For me, this blanket embraces what I love about autumn and captures it in yarn form! It’s also super cosy to work on especially when it gets big enough to cover you while you add more colourful rows. I hope you enjoy making it as much as I did :)

You will need:

• Approx 1160/1268yds of DK weight yarn - I used Yarnsmiths Create DK in 10 autumnal shades with plenty left over in each colour.
• 4mm crochet hook or size needed to obtain gauge
• Scissors
• Darning needle
