Fee’s Wild Child is playful brioche lace that is dripping with brioche fans and points along its arc. Inspired by Hedgehog Fibre Yarns’ gorgeous new colors that sing about just wanting to have fun, you will get into your own groove as you knit yours.
Fee’s Wild Child carries some of the DNA of it’s parent shawl, Fionan Fey, but like all children it has some twists and turns that make it an individual. The unique brioche lace fans and points along the border use a fusion of fiber art techniques to create this lighthearted, enjoyable shawl.
Knitted in fingering weight Hedgehog Fibers Skinny Singles this semi-circle shawl is so soft with great dimension and amazing drape. The lace is created with brioche stitch using both two color brioche, one color brioche, and finishing with a border of brioche dripping off of the edge.
