Takes much less than one skein of Simply Soft. It measures 16 inches and fits my size 22 dome just fine, the yarn has a ton of stretch. The edge will roll slightly but stays flat when worn.

Pattern neglects to say to join in the round.
SS means Stockinette stitch.
