This is a basic pattern that grows and grows so you can make a small cot blanket or a larger one/lap blanket or go right to the end for a huge throw of 7ft square. The combinations of stitches and rows creates an effect that it is much more difficult than it really is.

I really hate stitch counting and only give stitch counts when necessary. Most of my patterns work out without paying too much attention to detailed stitch counts, so if you are bit OCD about stitch counts this is not the pattern for you.

I have used 3 different yarns for 3 different versions of this pattern, ferris wheel was the smallest blanket then the mandala version but by far the biggest and chunkiest was the one completed with King Cole dk riot which is quite a heavy wool mix.
