Felt Summer Bags
7 bags knitted with 100% wool, double strands on a size 15 needle. Washed until felted makes a sturdy hand bag. Made it larges and it becomes a tote. Easy to enlarge by simply casting on more stitches and knit more rows.
I used Cascade 220 100% wool. Great fiber for felting. Yarn will be available on website shortly.
Any 100% Wool that felts will work.
You can also use a fuzzy, eyelash, or sparkly yarn as second yarn to add a touch of class. The bag will still felt and hold the decorative yarn in place.
