A HUGE hit with young boys! This little 8 legged felted spider is lots of fun, use for a decoration or add as part of a Halloween costume. Easy to complete the knitting in a couple hours (drying after felting takes about a day). Tapered I-cord legs are easy to make. By adding a bit of stuffing to the body before washing, it gives a puffy ‘well-feed’ look. After felting, add red silver-lined glass bead eyes and hourglass design to belly. Spider will shrink approximately 40% after felting. Made with Cascade 220 (or Lambs Pride worsted) and uses less than a skein.
