Blessing bowls are created and filled with items for a special occasion to share love and joy. They can also be used to show gratitude and thoughtfulness. Create a blessing bowl for a wedding, the holidays, or a way to say thank you!

The blessing bowls are a basic shape that can be knit quickly using large needles. They are knit in the round holding two strands of yarn together. The large bowl is knit from the top down on circular needles, then switched to double pointed needles for the bottom decreases. The smaller bowl is knit using only double pointed needles. Both sizes can be made using the two skeins of yarn with a little yarn left over for embellishment if desired.

Felting is a fun process and can lead to endless possibilities with embellishment!
