This design was inspired by the stunning Pendleton designs surrounding us in the Pacific Northwest. The felting creates the perfect wool blanket look and softens the geometric design (charted).

For the felting, I give my recommendations for what worked best with this pattern.

I also added an interior pocket after a suggestion from a friend who received one of the earlier versions.

Wool of the Andes Worsted Weight (110 yards per skein):
Cobblestone Heather (gray) - 3 skeins
Coal (black) - 2 skeins
Marina (turquoise) - 1 skein
White - 1 skein

Requires 100% (non-superwash) wool.

Needles:
US 10.5 (6.5 mm) circular and double pointed needles
Crochet hook (H - 5 mm)
Tapestry needle
