The dress hat has a nice turned up brim. If a narrower brim is desired just knit between 2 & 3 inches. After felting is is a good idea to set on a blown up balloon the same circumference as the finished size. The hat should be air dried. This hat can be knit with 2 strands of worsted weight yarn held together or a super chunky single strand. After knitting the hat is felted in the washing machine. A circular 80cm needle is good to knit the entire hat.
