3 colors, 158 yards each
Pumpkin, Ebony, Sage.
Pattern uses a very small quantity (about 24 inches [61 cm]) of the Sage color.
Ed. note: If you are substituting another yarn, it must be 100% feltable wool if you plan to felt the project.
Knitting Needles - Size 7 [4.5 mm]
Split Ring Stitch Markers
1 yd [1 m] 3/8 in [1 cm] orange satin ribbon
1 yd [1 m] 1/8 in [3 mm] black satin ribbon
Halloween trimmings (small bells, beads or other findings)
Finished Bag size depends on how much the piece is felted. Keep in mind that you can always felt more, but once felting is done, it is not reversible.
Colorwork charts and construction diagram are provided.
Embroider the eyes, nose and mouth on the pumpkin after felting. Ribbons are used to create handles for the bag.
