Felted Insoles to Knit or Crochet
Here are 3 methods for making felted insoles for your shoes or boots, or to use as slipper bottoms. Method 1 involves knitting or crocheting your own felted fabric, while Method 2 uses a feltable wool sweater, and Method 3 uses wool fabric that has already been felted – whether intentionally or by accident! Method 1 is suitable for any size 100% wool, and any needles you choose.
Simply prepare the fabric by one of the methods, then use the template provided to cut out your insoles in the size required. Quick & easy!
