Felted Jangle Button Bag
This pattern is available as a
free Ravelry download
You will be amazed at the wonderful “jangling” effect of the buttons on the top of this bag.
A really fun project and will get lots of comments from knitters and non-knitters alike. Such as “how did you do that?”
Using 1 piece of crochet cotton, chain 10 and place a button until all buttons are used. The string will wrap about 2.5 times around the bag before you start knitting it in. You may whip a piece of yarn through the back of the crochet thread to tack down each stitch.
Bag will be larger before felting. Using only 100% wool yarn at a slightly loose gauge.
