A cosy wrap in a pretty lace pattern. Lightly felting this piece softens up the yarn and gives it a beautiful worn-in look.

Charts and written instructions are given, along with instructions for each lace knitting stitch used. Full instructions on how to felt the wrap are also given.

Yarn: Croft Wools Aran weight Gotland yarn, one 250g skein. Although this yarn does not appear on the Ravelry database, it is available by mail order from http://www.croftwools.co.uk/wool.html

Any light aran weight Gotland (or similar) yarn would be suitable, as long as it is not described as “superwash” or “machine washable” (you need to be able to felt it!)

Gauge: 14 sts = 4” with 6.5mm / US 10.5 needles before blocking.Correct gauge isn’t totally crucial, as long as worsted/aran weight yarn is used.

Needles: One 40” 6.5mm / US 10.5 circular needle.
