This bag was made to use some not very smoothly hand spun Gotland, a fleece that felts readily. It might differ a little in size but should make up similarly with any aran/worsted 100% wool that likes to felt. I mention in the pattern instructions that for a shoulder bag, the handle needs to be made a bit longer. I was aiming for it to look like a pebble on the beach with a fossil in it, hence the ‘ammonite’ spiral chain stitched on, but I think it would look good done in circles of different colours.
