This quick-to-knit felted tea cozy is perfect for an afternoon tea. The embellished roses add a little romance of an English garden to the look. Add a hot pad and you’re all set!

NOTE: The pattern is designed so that the tea pot would sit on a hot pad and the cozy over it like a cover. If you want to have the handle and spout sticking out, then you can cut slits on either side AFTER felting. ALSO, don’t use the Fair Isle method to create the color work on the band: it will distort the shape of the tea cozy. Use either duplicate stitch or needle felting.
