These felted treat bowls are a fun and quick project to bring a little flair to your holidays! They can be knit, felted, and then embellished to match any theme or holiday. Embellishment can take the form of embroidery, needle felting, or any combination of crafts.

The bowls are knit from the top down on circular needles. The flat bottom is created by a star decrease using double pointed needles. The pattern calls for holding two strands of worsted weight yarn at the same time. Both sizes can be made out of the two skeins of yarn with a little extra left over.

Instructions are provided for hand felting. This is a good project in which to get your kids involved; they can help with the felting and the decorating! These bowls are so quick to make that you can make one for each member of the family!
