Decorate your tree or house with these cute, squishy and cosy woollen hearts or give them as small appreciative gifts to family and friends.

These easy and quickly made hearts are knitted holding together two stands of 100% non superwash wool yarn, here Holst Garn Supersoft 50% merino wool and 50% shetland wool (287 m / 50 g). They are sewn together, stuffed and felted in the washing machine.

For each heart you will need approximately 4 grams of yarn, and for batting you can use the filling from an old pillow.

Needles: 4.0 mm (US 6)
Approximate yardage per heart: 23 m
Finished measurements after felting: approx 5 x 5 cm / 2 x 2”
