Femke
This blanket is designed in honour of my beautiful new born granddaughter Femke Johanna.
The inspiration for this blanket were the three white rabbits my family had as pets when I was little. The flowers and colours are inspired by Japanese cherry blossoms.
The blanket measures approximately 27.6 inch/70 cm x 32.7 inch/83 cm.
The pattern gives detailed instructions row by row, round by round accompanied by photos.
The faces of the rabbits are embroidered and several options for different facial expressions are given.
The pattern calls for DK yarn.
You can use leftover yarn, as it is possible to be creative and use many different colours for this pattern. Thinner or thicker yarn will make a smaller or larger blanket.
Colours used in this pattern are: 1001 White, 1026 Apricot, 1081 Saffron, 1130 Candyfloss, 1218 Parchment, 1241 Fondant, 1390 Clematis, 1420 Camel, 1435 Bright Pink, 1709 Gold, 1710 Stone and a few strands of1002 Black.
You will also need four stitchmarkers and an embroidery/tapestry needle.
