Fence Rows Socks was inspired by a picture of the English countryside dotted with dry stacked rock walls. Then I played with knitted and purled stitches to attain this final pattern. When my computer crashed I had to reverse engineer the pattern from the existing pair of socks that I originally knitted in 2004.

This pattern also includes directions for the Fence Rows to run down the instep of the sock.
