Fenestrae is a neck warmer featuring mosaic stitch pattern which might become an infinity cowl or a scarf. Knit flat in two contrasting colours. In mosaic knitting you work one colour at a time and create the colourwork through slipped stitches. To create a cowl, join the ends together as the pattern sugests. With this pattern you can easily create a wider / narrower / longer / shorter neckwarmer.

Although the instructions are written for aran yarn, any yarn thickness with the corresponding needle size can be used. If using a different weight, you would increase or decrease the repetitions of the main pattern to knit an equally long and wide cowl or scarf.

22cm / 8.66in wide and 120cm / 47in circumference (/length)

GAUGE
16 sts and 28 rows in garter stitch = 10x10cm using
5.5mm / US 9 needles or size needed to obtain the gauge

Main colour (MC): 100g / 3.5oz weight yarn aran
Contrast colour (CC): 100g / 3.5oz weight yarn aran

TOOLS

Nákrčník je pleten dvěma kontrastními barvami a následně jsou jeho konce spojeny. Pokud konce nespojíte, získáte tím krásnou šálu. Vzor je vytvářen přetahováním ok. Vždy se plete pouze s jednou barvou po dvě řady.

Ačkoli je návod napsán pro tloušťku příze aran, je možné použít jakoukoli tloušťku příze s odpovídající velikostí jehlic. V tom případě je pro upletení stejně širokého nákrčníku nebo šály potřeba navýšit počet opakování základního vzoru.
