Fern Dress
Fern Dress is our Christmas dress 2023. The dress is worked in our well-known Fern stitch pattern – a simple and addictive eyelet pattern that is both fun and easy to knit. Fern Dress is worked from the top down with 1 strand of either Merino, Cotton Merino or Pure Silk.
You start with the i-cord neckband and ties before working the yoke back and forth to create the side opening at the shoulder. Afterwards, work is continued in the round to the underarms where sleeve stitches are placed on hold. The wide skirt is shaped with additional increases along the entire length and finished with a folded and decorative edge. Sleeves are worked in the round to 3/4-length and finished with an i-cord edge that mirrors the neckband and ties perfectly.
