Fern the Jackalope appears to be the softest and meekest of all cryptids, but you’ll soon find that she has a sense of humor as sharp as her tiny antlers. Betty Yeti and Marty Mothman are her cryptid besties.

The pattern is an 9 page pdf with clear written instructions and photo illustrations. Pattern is in English with US crochet terminology.

This pattern is written for fingering or sport weight yarn, I prefer mercerized cotton. She stands about 5 inches tall and you can easily make a larger version with a larger yarn and hook.

Supplies Needed:

  • Fingering weight cotton yarn Body color: about 50g Light Pink (inner ear): less than 10g Golden brown (antlers): less than 10g

  • 1.5 to 2mm hook, per your preference

  • embroidery needle

  • toy stuffing

  • stitch markers

  • embroidery thread Black

  • 6mm safety eyes
