Rectangle shaped shawl, created for lace beginners in mind. Pattern has both written & chart directions. All even rows (wrong side) are purl stitches. Stitches: Knit, Purl, YO, SSK, K2together. Fingering weight yarn (US Ball Band #3) on US#8 needles. Simple, quick and repetitive pattern. Fringes & Tassels optional. Pattern does not include how-to make fringes or tassels, since there are excellent videos on YouTube that demonstrate how that is done. Used 2-balls of Loops & Threads Woolike Red colorway to knit the shawl - tassels included.
