I have tested this pattern out with a number of different Yeoman yarns and have been happy with the results. The body of the had is knit in a simple yarn over stitch that gives the effect of spirals.

This hat is quite stretchy and light in Yeoman Elsa but will have more body if knit in heavier yarns. This is a flexible pattern that works well with a variety of yarns.
