Festival of Stitches
“Festival of Stitches” is a fun & playful project that will keep you engaged from start to finish! Different sections make it addictive and knit up quickly. The finished item will add a wonderful highlight to your daily wardrobe with a shape that is versatile and easy to wear.
Yes, there’s lots of fun colourwork in this pattern! But only easy slipped stitches (yay, mosaic) and colour blocking, no stranded/fair isle/intarsia/brioche.
There are also be some cables, eyelets, stripes… but no super complicated techniques are used in this pattern.
Each section contains fully written instructions and charts so you can choose which you prefer to work from.
Every section in this pattern is completely adjustable to your liking or the yarn/yardage you have available.
This pattern has been designed in collaboration with the wonderful Miss Babs and I have used their fantastic Caroline yarn for my sample.

YARN:
Designed for fingering weight yarn in 3 contrasting colours. Allow approx. 337-340 m / 368-374 yds of each colour to get the sample size. Each section is fully adjustable and works just as well for more/fewer yardage.
Yarn used for sample: Miss Babs Caroline (fingering weight, 100 g = 366 m / 400 yds) in colourways Dark Pegasus (A), Oyster (B) and Dark Adobe (C).
GAUGE & NEEDLES:
Is not critical for this project, but differences will affect yardage requirements and the finished size. Be sure to use a larger needle size than may be recommended for your yarn to allow a good drape of the finished item.
Gauge on sample: 20 sts x 40 rows = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4“ in garter stitch after light blocking.
Needles used for sample: 3.5 mm / US 4
This pattern has been professionally tech edited and well testknitted. Many thanks to my wonderful helpers!
