Over one foot tall, this crocheted Christmas Tree with colorful ornaments makes a festive trivet or hanging holiday decoration. It’s fun to make and works up pretty quickly so you can make one for yourself and several to give as gifts. About 12.5” tall by 13” across at the widest part.

Materials

Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver, 100% Acrylic, Worsted Weight (4), 364 yards per skein. You’ll need about 75 yards of green or whatever color you want your tree but the other colors require small amounts and are a good stash buster. Approximate amounts needed for each color:

Green: Paddy Green #E300-0368 75 Yds.
Brown: Café Latte #E300-0360 4 Yds
Gold: Gold #E300-0321 6 Yds
Blue: Light Periwinkle #E300-0347 5 yds
Purple: Lavender #E300-0358 5 Yds
White: White #E300-0311 5 Yds
Red: Cherry Red #E300-0319 6 Yds

Hook: G Hook. Gauge given is approximate and is not important on this project. If you use a different yarn, you may want to adjust your hook to achieve the given size.
