Make yourself a cast of characterful crochet Christmas decorations. One pattern with 5 colour options for simple minimalist holiday decor.

All of the ornaments are made using the same basic crochet pattern, with the colour changes and finishing creating the different characters. The Elf variation of the pattern is available for free on the DoraDoes blog.

Skills needed: This is an easy pattern made in continuous rounds using only single crochet, simple increases, decreases and colour changes.

Materials: The pattern uses around 30m DK yarn for each decoration and a 3.5mm hook. Safety eyes are used and options are given for the noses and other adornments. You will require stuffing to fill the decoration and optional ribbon to create a hanging loop.

Finished size: Each decoration measures around 12cm tall and about 7cm at the widest point. This size will vary a little depending on your tension and choice of yarn and hook.
