Festive Fringe
Everything is more festive with fringe! Oh, and that fringe isn’t just for fun, it’s functional too. It gets down into the crevices and corners really well. These are also nice as a candle or vase mat, or even a potholder (using the thicker yarn). Make them in colors for every occasion.
There are now three options in this pattern:
1 - A thicker cloth, using worsted weight cotton yarn and the larger needles.
2 - A lighter weight cloth, using sport or light DK weight cotton yarn with the smaller needles.
3 - A smaller size, using sport or light DK weight cotton yarn, smaller needles, and fewer stitches than option 2.
Enjoy!

**** Pattern Updates ****
6/23/2019: Pattern rows decreased to 10 for worsted-weight. Separated out from sport-weight, which stays at 12 rows.
9/29/2019: Bind-off changed from grafting for garter stitch to kitchener as done for stockinette. Also added a 2-color option.
10/2/2019: Another slight tweak to the bind-off. Now I can honestly say I am happy with the way it looks. Whew!
