Festive Slouchy Hat
This is a textured festive crochet slouchy hat with a tutorial on how to make it in US terms.
The hat shown here is 28cm / 11.02 inches in diameter and its circumference is 53cm / 20.86 inches (without stretching) or 56 cm / 22.04 with stretching.
To obtain this size, please check the gauge: 10 stitches and 5 dc rows = 76cm / 2.752.36 inches using a 4.5mm hook (US 7 hook).
The yarn I used was 50g of bright red Menada yarn (DK, 100% acrylic, 145 m/158.57yds), and 20 g of dark green Menada yarn (DK, 100% acrylic, 145 m/158.57yds) or a total of 145 m/158.57yds of bright red and 58m / 63.42yds of dark green yarn.
If you wish to make it in a size other than the one given here, check the gauge and use the hook one size up or down to the one suggested here. The suggested hook size for the yarn I used was 3.5 to 4.5 / US E-4 to 7. You can also use any yarn in any color you want, with or without the color change.
To make this hat, you will need
- 4.5 mm hook (US 7)
- scissors
- tapestry needle

Special thanks to the video tutorial for making a holy leaf and berries which I used instead of making a pompom which is available on Youtube
