Festive Woodland Pullover is inspired by traditional Scandinavian circular yoke sweaters and timeless colorwork motifs with a modern color palette. Another inspiration was Woodlands and mountains, as well as geometric patterns. Unisex in style, this pullover is perfect for men and women.

A simple color scheme of a neutral main color and four Colorwork colors can be easily adapted to suit any style. Aran weight yarn makes this a fast knit that can be finished in just a couple of weeks.

Finally, this was a special design to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday, so the “festive” part played out in this design, resulting in a garment that is perfect for special occasions and holidays!

Level: intermediate

Sizes: 36 (40, 44, 48, 52, 56, 60)” final garment chest circumference, intended with 2-4” of positive ease.

Gauge: 20 sts x 20 rows = 4” x 4” in stockinette st, in the round, after blocking, on US 6 (4.00 mm) needle.

3. CC 2 - Knit Picks Aran City Tweed, Aran, 55% Merino, 25% Alpaca, 20% Rayon, Acrylic, 164 yards/ 150 m / 100 grams in color Lemon Curd, 1 (1, 1, 1) (2, 2, 2) balls; 140 (140, 150, 160) (180, 200, 220) yards.
4. CC 3 - Harrisville Designs Watershed, worsted, 100% wool, 110 yds/ 100 m/ 50 g, in color 939 Monarch, 1 (1, 1, 1) (2, 2, 2) balls; 80 (90, 100, 110) (130, 150, 180) yards.
