Feyre
Feyre is the third and final shawl in the “A Court of Thorn and Roses” collaboration with yarn artist, Angela of Pretty Twisted Knots.
Elain and Lords of the Court Shawls, make up the trio.
The shawls and yarn, are inspired by the characters in the book series “A Court of Thorn and Roses” by Sarah Maas.
All shawls are designed to represent the core strengths of the characters, the inspiration for Feyre was Feyre, and the shawl works to represents her strength, femininity and evolution.
This large, semi-circular lace shawl grows in its complexity, but at its core is a love of nature, life and the ability to change and evolve into something wonderful.
I have loved working on this collaboration, our second of many. I hope you love the Feyre and have enjoyed the journey of our collaboration as much as we did when designing both the shawls and the colourways.
SIZE
Small: 175cm/69” wide x 94cm/37” deep
Large: 259cm/101” wide x 112cm/44” deep
GAUGE
20 rows x 18 sts worked in eyelet pattern using 4.5mm / US #7 needles,
This equates to 7 pattern repeats. Just remember shawl gauge is not super important but if way out you will run out of yarn. As a rule, I generally allow a 10% yarn overrun.
NEEDLES AND NOTIONS
4.5mm / US#7 needle on a 90cm/36” cord,
I don’t like my stitches to be stretched out or scrunched up, so choose a cord length that suits you.
5mm/US#8 for the garter tab cast on (see note).
X54 Stitch markers.
YARN
