The FF sweater pattern is for you if you:

  • Love granny squares but hate having to sew them together
  • Don’t want to spend extra time on the sewing process
  • Have too much scrap yarn lying around and don’t know what to do with it.

Basically, you save both time and money on yarn with this pattern and still end up with a great piece.

The FF pattern is an oversized sweater with a nice turtleneck for a more finished look. You also have the option to add length to the body or the sleeves if you wish. The granny squares are joined together using the join-as-you-go method, and all the panels (front, back and sleeves) are held together using the same technique. I added a turtleneck and some length to the body and sleeves because it was cute and didn’t require sewing either.

Extra point: There is no magic circle involved here.
