Ability Level - Intermediate
Materials required:
3.25 mm crochet hook; 450-500g DK yarn in chosen edging colour 450-500g of assorted multicolour DK yarns or scraps of yarn – see note below.
Note on materials:
- If 50g balls of multicolour yarn are used, each 50g ball will produce between 11 and 13 small squares, depending on thickness of yarn.
- 100g of yarn will make a border around 25 to 28 small squares depending on thickness of yarn,
- 100g is required for blanket edging for the size of blanket on pattern, if the blanket is made larger then more yarn will be required.
- Three variations are given for border.
Approximate finished size:
Blanket size shown on pattern (10 x 10 small squares): 53-inches/132.5 cm x 53-inches/132.5 cm
Each square measures: 5-inches/12.5 cm by 5-inches/12.5 cm
Border: 1½-inches/4 cm deep
Gauge: Round 1 on small square = 1⅝-inches/3.5 cm diameter
