The FFSSA hat is unique in that it spells out, in patterns, the words “I love spinning fine Shetland wool!”

Part of the proceeds from the sales of this pattern will go to support the Fine Fleece Shetland Sheep Association. FFSSA is about protecting, preserving, and promoting fine fleece Shetland sheep. See the website for more information regarding us: http://www.finefleeceshetlandsheep.org/

The hat is done in natural colored Shetland wool using fingering weight yarn from Under The Son farm. Two skeins of contrasting colors are needed to complete the pattern. It may be possible to make two hats from two skeins by reversing the colors.
