Fibonacci Baby Blanket
This simple but striking blanket is based on the granny square. Instead of multiple granny squares put together, it is one giant granny square. The nature of the granny square makes it possible to apply the Fibonacci sequence in infinite ways to make your blanket unique. Try it and see how fun it can be!
If you want to make it as it is here, the blanket requires 1 skein each of four different colors, and 2 skeins of the variegated color. But the fun part is when you mix and match your own colors and use the Fibonacci sequence your way.
Gauge is not important here as you can make it smaller or bigger as you wish. The current pattern makes a 33” blanket. Although the yarn is not soft when knitted, it becomes very soft after machine washing and drying. All you need to know is the slip stitch, chain stitch, single crochet, and double crochet, and off you go!
