This is a cowl version of the Fibonacci Buff so is wider and shorter than the original. The photographs show the buff for reference.

Knitted in two colours of Yarns Stories merino DK, the cowl shows how the fibonacci sequence can be used for designing stripes.

So long as you knit to the tension stated ofr stocking stitch on the ball band of the yarn, the pattern should work (in this case 22 st x 30 rows gives 10cm).
