Fibonacci Drops Shawl
Are you a math whiz? Do logical number patterns make you squeal with joy? Well, then, this debut Knit Eco Chic pattern is just for you. Featuring the Fibonacci sequence in both the color work and drop sequence, wear your love of math on your shawl and see how many others can spot it. To the “non-mathaholic” it is a beautiful piece of knitting, but to the true math enthusiast, it is the embodiment of the golden ratio in a shawl.
The shawl works up beautifully without the drop stitches as well. The alternate version included in the pattern, without the drops, measures is 60”/ 152.5cm by 27”/ 68.5cm with notes on how to adjust the size.
The pattern includes written directions, diagrams, pictures, a glossary, notes, and a no-drops variation. Tech edited by Sashka Macievich.

2 skeins Americo Originals Abrazos (dove grey)
1 skein Americo Originals Abrazos (ice blue)

Gauge: 26 sts and 44 rows over 4”/ 10cm double stranded using US 3/ 3.25mm needles. Gauge is not critical. Drastically different gauges will lead to a different size finished shawl. If substituting yarn, consider single stranding if needed in order to match gauge.
