fibonacci [mark two]
fibonacci [mark two] is the middle size of a trio of smooshy isosceles shawls knit from end-to-end.
[mark two]’s symmetry is beautiful in both bold and subtle colour combinations. this shawl is very simple to knit and portable, too: because of its flat-knit sideways construction, mark two is narrow enough that it may be knit comfortably using either a pair of 14” straight needles or a 20” circular needle.
since only one colour is worked at a time [mark two] is a great introduction to colourwork. pattern directions indicate the number of garter stitch ‘ridges’ in each stripe for quick counting and fuss-free knitting.
