This useful portfolio is the perfect vehicle to subtly
fly your knitting colors at work. Make it with handles,
it could even hold a slim notebook computer. Add a
zipper closure and it works well for storing a
notepad and important papers. Used as the basis
for a class, students can learn about Fibonacci
sequencing (basic overview included in pattern).

Skill level: Intermediate.
Size: One size. Felted dimension is approximately
15 inches wide by 11 inches tall. Size before felting:
19” wide and 22” tall (measured between slip
stitches and from top of garter stitch bottom up to I-
cord bind off).
Gauge: 16 sts/20 rows = 4”/10 cm (before felting).
Yarn: Worsted weight feltable wool (11 wpi): dark
color (A) 290 yards, medium color (B) 180 yards,
light color (C) 120 yards. Model knit using
Stonehedge Fiber Mill Shepherd’s Wool.
