Fibonacci Scarf
This pattern is available as a
free Ravelry download
The Fibonacci sequence is a simple mathematical progression where each number is the sum of the previous two, starting with 0 and 1.
So:
0 1
0 1 1
0 1 1 2
0 1 1 2 3, etc.
You get the picture. This is a simple scarf pattern that makes subtle use of the Fibonacci sequence and knit and purl stitches to add visual interest to a double-sided scarf that looks equally good on a man or a woman. It’s a very simple project, a good choice for the new knitter or a someone more advanced looking for something that doesn’t require a good deal of attention.
