Strickweise:
Das Fibonacci Top wird nahtlos von oben nach unten gestrickt. Dabei wird mit dem Bündchen des Halsausschnittes begonnen. An das Bündchen werden sodann die Schultern angestrickt. Aus den Schultern und dem Bündchen werden zunächst für das Rückenteil Maschen aufgenommen und dieses wird in Reihen gestrickt, wobei für die Zunahmen Maschen in einer dekorativen breiten Raglanschrägung zugenommen werden. Das Vorderteil wird in gleicher Weise gestrickt, jedoch wird hier das Fibonacci-Muster eingearbeitet. Das dezente Ajour-Muster wird mittig des Vorderteils und jeweils mittig in den beiden Raglanschrägungen gestrickt. Rück- und Vorderteil werden dann verbunden und der Körper wird in Runden bis zur Gesamtlänge gestrickt. Dabei wird über das Vorderteil über den gesamten Verlauf das Fibonacci-Muster gearbeitet.

Hintergrund/Inspiration:
Die Fibonacci-Folge ist die unendliche Folge natürlicher Zahlen, die zweimal mit der Zahl 1 beginnt (oder zusätzlich mit einer führenden Zahl 0). Im Anschluss ergibt jeweils die Summe zweier aufeinanderfolgender Zahlen die unmittelbar danach folgende Zahl (siehe Wikipedia):

0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21, 34, …

Information:
The Fibonacci top is knitted seamless from the top down. You start with the cuff for the neckband. After knitting the neckband you knit the shoulders seamless. Next you pick up stitches from the shoulders and the back panel of the top is knitted flat. The increases for the back panel are made in a decorative wide raglan line. The front panel is knitted in the same way, but the Fibonacci pattern is worked across the front panel. The discreet lace pattern is worked within both of the raglan lines and in the middle of the front panel of the top. After the increases the back and front panel are joined to knit in the round and the Fibonacci pattern continues across the front panel.
