I was looking for an interesting blanket that I could make without having to look at the pattern too much, and this is it! The blanket is sized for a twin bed, but you could easily size it up or down by adding or subtracting stitches or whole panels if you like.

Gauge is less important for this project, as the number of rows in each color is what keeps the blanket symmetrical.
