I fell in love with a few skeins of sock yarn, decide to make a shawl out of them, but find I always have partial skeins leftover. I wanted to turn them into socks, but I’m never sure what pattern to use. This pattern is a great one to use up three coordinating partial skeins. If you’re brave you might even consider knitting this easy rib pattern two-at-a-time! This pattern uses the Fibonacci sequence to dictate when to change colors, and is knit with a 3x1 ribbing for a nice fit. I also have altered the traditional heel flap to make picking up the stitches for the gusset a bit easier and neater (the twist). I chose to do the cuff, heel, and toe all in Color A, and my yarn requirements reflect that. You could, however alter this for the amounts of yarn you have.

You will need the following yardage:
Color A - approx. 40g/176yds
Color B - approx. 20g/88yds
Color C - approx. 25g/66yds
