This shawl is knit in 2 pieces, from tip to center. Center stitches are then placed on hold/waste yarn. The second half is also knit from tip to center. Once both halves are knit, place hold stitches onto a spare circular needle. Then 3-needle bind off the live stitches together to create the ridge at the center.
