Fiddlehead Seedling
The Fiddlehead Seedling is the first pattern in a series of 3. They will all be available in the next few issues of In The Round.
With Spring coming, I’m getting excited to see some plants starting to grow and the trees bud. Since that is still a little way off for us here in Ohio, I decided to make my own seedlings and bring some Spring to me.
I bought all of my supplies at Dollar Tree, aside from the yarn and thread, in the craft and floral sections. I love to go in there, and just let my creativity roam. (Plus, if I mess up, I’m not as mad at myself if supplies get ruined. LOL)
Supplies Needed:
~Worsted weight yarn in green and any color for the pot
~Pipe cleaner/chenille wire/floral wire
~Florist tape
~Decorative floral foam shapes
~Ribbon
~Clear thread/fish line
~Fabric glue
~Clip/clamp to hold yarn ends as glue dries
~Tapestry and sewing needles
~Glass cabochons/pebbles to weigh the bottom down
