Fiddlehead Set

We know it’s spring here in western Massachusetts when young fiddlehead ferns start sprouting up in our gardens, woods, and local markets. This lovely beret and mitt set features staggered fiddlehead motifs, as soft and cool as a spring morning.
Finished Measurements:
Beret: 22” (when worn)
Mitts: 7” (at knuckles)
Yarn: Valley Yarns Southwick (52% Pima Cotton/48% Bamboo Viscose, 50g/105yds) color 16 Mineral Green
For Beret: 2 balls
For Mitts: 1 ball
Needles: set of five US 5 (3.75mm) DPNs; US 5 (3.75mm) 16” circular
Gauge: 22 sts and 30 rows = 4” in stockinette stitch
