The Field Day Jacket is worked from the top down and is closed in the front with four snap buttons. It features back shaping and dropped shoulders for a relaxed fit. A classic design to wrap up in during the cold months throughout the year.

Note: For the cream version, one strand each of worsted and lace weight yarns are held together throughout project, but you may also choose to knit this jacket using only a single strand of worsted weight yarn as long as you are able to meet the correct gauge. For the grey version, only one strand of yarn is used.

Techniques - Knitting flat, knitting in the round, long tail cast-on, Judy’s Magic Cast-On, knitted cast-on, increasing, decreasing, German Short Rows, holding stitches, picking up stitches, buttonholes, sewn tubular bind off, vertical to horizontal seaming, wet blocking.
