Interested in trying Entrelac? This pattern is a great starting point for new Entrelac knitters. The instructions are written for the use of two colorways of the same yarn, however, it can easily be worked using a single colorway. In fact a friend of mine knit this using Plymouth Yarns Gina and it came out quite lovely! If knitting in two colors, you will need approximately 160 yards of each, for a total of 320 yards for a single color.

This should work up quite nicely in either a worsted or aran weight yarn, but if you want to be sure you will like how it turns out, knit up a gauge swatch first to see if you need to adjust your needle size.

One of the things I love about knitting Entrelac is that since I first learned to knit left handed, I can knit righty, then lefty and I never have to turn my work!! Enjoy!
